The transition to CAS3+ is necessary in several specific situations related to the operation or failures of CAS2/CAS3 systems:

• Failure of CAS2/CAS3: When the CAS2/CAS3, manufactured between 2004 and 2007, stops working. Being less common in the second-hand market, replacement with a CAS3+ (manufactured between 2007 and 2012) often proves to be the most viable and accessible solution.
